The vibrant nature of the place where I live has been a source of inspiration for me. The moments spent by the River Zêzere awakened me to a universe of sensations and opened me up to the adventure of exploring the possibilities present in this land of multiple shades. And so a project was born that began with the collection of wild clay and ended with its return to the river. In between, unique shapes and surprising patterns emerged on the blank canvas that had something fundamental to communicate.

CLAY AND SUNLIGHT and THE LAND BELOW THE WATERS are the fruits of this work. The series CLAY AND SUNLIGHT is made up of fourteen images and brings with it all the strength, curiosity and lightness contained in the first contact with this mutable earth, with the sun as its witness. THE LAND BELOW THE WATERS is made up of twenty-nine canvases which, over time, have revealed themselves as visible expressions of a woman's inner journey.
